- Watch Your Time
Keep your review less than 7 minutes long. Any longer and you will lose the attention of your audience. Feel free to make them as short as you like. - Be Yourself
People can tell when you are faking it, especially on camera. Your reviews will be more enjoyable to watch if you are being yourself. - Plan Your Review
Writing out a list of things to include will help you not forget anything and reduce the chance of you stumbling through a review. - Keep It Useful
Remember the purpose of the review; to either spark debate or inform. Don’t use your reviews as a platform or ego stroking exercise. - Have Fun!
Reviewing and discussing books should be fun. Don’t take yourself or the exercise TOO seriously. - Setting
Make sure there’s plenty of lighting and a clutter and distraction free background to ensure viewers stay focussed on what’s important. You! - Don’t Over Edit
Everyone makes mistakes and it’s easy to retake and retake videos to get them ‘perfect’. Instead, why not spend your time just reviewing another book.
